MUSEO ITALO AMERICANO:
IERI, OGGI E DOMANI

In 1978, the Museo Italo Americano was founded in a small room above Caffè Malvina in San Francisco’s North Beach. Our mission in 1978 was very much as it is today – to research, collect, and display works by Italian and Italian-American artists, and to promote educational programs for the appreciation of Italian art and culture. This short video tells the story of the Museo – its past, present and plans for the future.
