DESCRIPTION:The Museo Italo Americano is excited to partner with Ken Borelli and the Italian American Heritage Foundation of San Jose in presenting a spectacular performance by  the Sbandieratori di Faenza\, one of Italy’s premier medieval flag-waving ensembles. \nPart of the Italian Flag-Wavers Federation\, the Sbandieratori di Faenza boast numerous victories at the Italian Championships in their category\, as well as four European titles and a World Folklore Championship title\, won in Beijing in 2018. The group has proudly performed on every continent\, appearing at events around the world\, including two appearances in the Hollywood Christmas Parade and a performance on Easter Island. \nThe performance features flag-wavers\, musicians playing drums and clarions\, and medieval-costumed performers\, offering a colorful and exciting glimpse into one of Italy’s most cherished traditions. \nThe exhibition will take place in the parking lot in front of the Museo and is free and open to the public.\nAlthough admission is free\, we would greatly appreciate it if you could register in advance so we can better prepare for the event. \nJoin us for this unique cultural experience and enjoy an afternoon of history\, music\, pageantry\, and tradition from the heart of Italy. \nVi Aspettiamo!! \nAnd if you miss them in San Francisco\, you can also catch them at the Italian Family Festa at History Park San Jose on July 25 & 26!
