Join Trentino-born speaker Luca Dorigatti for an engaging journey through Trentino-Alto Adige, a region shaped by its dramatic Alpine landscapes and the cultural fusion of Italian and Austrian influences. Discover its rich history, vibrant traditions, and the breathtaking beauty of the Alps.

Learn how the region has fostered world-renowned industries, from fine wine and liquors, artisanal pasta makers to innovative sporting equipment and attire, each rooted in its unique history.

Explore how tourism flourishes here, stretching from the shores of Lake Garda to the majestic peaks of the Dolomites.

The lecture will be followed by light refreshments inspired by the flavors of the region.

As part of our Regional Sundays Series, this lecture is presented in collaboration with the Circolo Trentino di San Francisco.

Luca Dorigatti bio:
Luca was born and grew up in Trento. After completing his education and the then mandatory military service, decided to take a trip across the pond and explore a bit the American culture. We can say he liked it enough, since that happened 34 years ago!
Once settled in California, thanks to Father Efrem Trettel, a fellow Trentino Franciscan Friar, he got involved with Circolo Trentino di San Francisco, of which is now the President, after serving many years as Secretary and Board member.
He is heavily involved at an international level with immigration, having represented Provincia Autonoma di Trento in the USA as Consultore and Associazione Trentini nel Mondo as Coordinator for many years.
