Join us at the Museo Italo Americano during the San Francisco Art Fair for a special conversation with Lloyd Crenna, former attorney for the Bufano Society for the Arts. Drawing on years of close engagement with the legacy of the Italian American sculptor Beniamino Bufano, Crenna will offer compelling insights into the artist’s life, creative process, and philosophical outlook.
Bufano, known for his monumental sculptures and powerful pacifist vision, left an indelible mark on the artistic and cultural landscape of San Francisco. Through personal reflections, historical context, and stories from his work with the Bufano Society, Crenna will illuminate the ideas and convictions that shaped Bufano’s art and enduring legacy.
This program is presented by the Museo Italo Americano as Cultural Partner of the SF Art Fair.
