Discovering the Spirit of Abruzzo & Molise
June 29 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

The two regions share deep historical, cultural, and geographical ties, with a common heritage in their traditions, dialects, landscapes, and the scenic Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo. Roberta will introduce you to the beauty of Molise and its breathtaking landscape. Then she will guide you across Abruzzo, one of Italy’s best-kept secrets, where mountains meet the sea in stunning harmony, from the dramatic peaks of Gran Sasso and Majella, a hikers and nature lovers’ wonderland, to the enchanting Costa dei Trabocchi, a cyclist’s paradise, with its poetic and romantic coves. Roberta will conclude her presentation of Abruzzo and Molise, focusing on Costa dei Trabocchi, her mother’s birthplace and the heart of her childhood summers, filled with hidden beauty and evocative memories.
After the lecture, join us for a light wine tasting featuring Villa Italia wines from the breathtaking regions of Abruzzo and Molise, hand-selected by renowned importer Lorenzo Scarpone. Lorenzo will guide you through the unique characteristics and stories behind these exceptional Italian wines.
This lecture is part of our Regional Sundays Series.
