b. 1949 Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaBorn in Philadelphia, Peter Scaturro studied fine arts at the Tyler School of Art at Temple University where he received his BFA and MFA. In 1993 through 1994 he studied art in Rome. He now lives and works in the Napa Valley, participating in frequent exhibitions at many local galleries.
Scaturro works in many mediums including watercolor, pen and ink, and ceramics. In 2017, art historian and curator Peter Selz held a private showing of Scaturro’s works in his home. His works can be found in many private collections as well as in the permanent collection of the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts at the Palace of Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco.
