Buggiani, Paolo – Untitled (No. 1)

An abstract oil painting with color tones of brown and white, with small hints of orange and black. The background color of the painting is different shades of browns peeking from the top, middle, and bottom of the painting. In the middle of the painting are two oddly shaped, white rectangles that are horizontally parallel to each other. The larger one is on top and the smaller one on the bottom. On the top one, there are two ribbon-like brush strokes in orange. On the bottom rectangle, four orange lines create a hollow rectangle. In between these two white off-shape rectangles is a small splatter of black paint. The painting has a rough texture to it. The artist’s signature is in black on the lower right corner.
