Italian Americans at Bat: From Sandlots to the Major Leagues

Exhibit guide from Italian Americans at Bat: From Sandlots to the Major Leagues, an original exhibition created by the Museo Italo Americano and on exhibit from June 22 through November 25, 2012. The exhibit featured more than 150 images from the 1890s to the present, along with memorabilia chronicling the history and contributions of Italian Americans to baseball. In a most enlightening and entertaining way, the exhibit explored the connection between baseball and the Italian assimilation experience in America.
