Cuneo, Rinaldo – Landscape

This oil painting features tones of brown, green, black, and cream. Four trees are in the front of the painting. The two on the right have skinny trunks, as does the one on the left. The tree toward the center right has a thicker trunk and appears to be the focal point of the painting. The trunks of the four trees are bare, with scattered green leaves on the top branches. The grass at the bottom is yellow-brown. Behind the trees are a couple of small bushes. The eye then moves into the background, where several farmhouse-style houses are visible. On the right is a brownish-red house, followed by a cream-colored one next to it. Beyond the thick tree is a brown house with a muted green roof, and behind it, a larger cream house with a muted green roof. Further back is a dense forest of green trees occupying a large part of the background. On the right, behind the reddish-brown house, the grass turns more yellow-brown until it meets the forest. The artist's signature is in black at the bottom right corner.
