Francesca was born in Gorizia, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. She grew up in a small town and studied at the University of Trieste obtaining a Master’s degree in modern languages and literature. Francesca has 10+ years of experience teaching Italian and, believing in the value of continuous education, she attended many professional development courses (Icon, Ca Foscari University in Venice,
Scuola Dante Alighieri in Recanati, Italy). In 2023 she also became a certified CELI examiner.
Teaching Italian is her passion and her expertise: learning a language means learning a different culture and enriches you as a person, helping broaden your horizons and your perspective. She believes that keeping students engaged and creating a friendly learning environment in class is the clue toward a meaningful and successful learning process.
In her free time, she loves hiking, hanging out with friends and family, cooking and reading.
