David T. Giannini is a retired litigation attorney who was born and raised in San Francisco.
Always a devoted supporter of Italian-American organizations, he succeeded his late wife
Carolyn M. (Zullo) Giannini on the Museo’s Board of Directors in 2016.
David earned his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Santa Clara, and his Law Degree
from USF. He holds the rank of Major in the USMC Judge Advocate General Corps.
After returning to civilian life in 1968, David practiced law in San Francisco until retiring in 2015.
He holds emeritus roles in various Italian-American cultural organizations, including
the Italian American Community Service, Il Cenacolo, Italian-American Bar Association,
and more. He is honored as a “Cavaliere” of the Order of Merit by the President of Italy for
his distinguished service.
