Sandra is the Museo’s Executive Director and a Board Member. She took over the Director’s
reins in a volunteer capacity in 2020 from her mother Paola Bagnatori who ran the Museo for
40+ years, leaving very big shoes to fill.
Sandra is a native San Franciscan. She is the daughter of Italian immigrant parents, though the
family roots in San Francisco date back to the 1870s. Sandra is a graduate of U.C. Davis and is
fluent in Italian. She has had a successful career for more than three decades as a San
Francisco real estate agent.
Sandra is a member and supporter of many local arts organizations including the Fine Arts
Museum of San Francisco, the Museum of the African Diaspora and the Sonoma Valley
Museum of Art. She volunteered for many years at Larkin Street Youth Services and remains a
donor. Sandra serves on board of the Park Conservancy Leader Circle which is part of the
Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
